Philip resides in Oakland California.

He graduated from and worked as an adjunct professor at Virginia Commonwealth University in the Design department before heading North to New York City. In New York, Philip would teach 3D computer art at the School of Visual Arts and work as a 3D Designer in the production of animation for film and television.

In 1999, Philip founded the artist collective, Atmospherex, which would create and perform experimental animation at events and release several DVD compilations of experimental video and animation.

In 2011, Philip completed the Master of Fine Arts in Design + Technology at San Francisco Art Institute and is currently a 3D Artist and Product Renderer and an adjunct professor at California College of the Arts in the MFA Design.

He is currently developing a real-time rendering pipeline using the Unreal Game Engine, Vray, ARKit and Magic Leap.
